Ⅰ.Application

O1 steel is one of the most well respected oil-hardening tool and mould steels.

With chromium-manganese content possessed good machinability, mechanical wear

resistance and edge holding quality. Vanadium-Wolfram content reduces high working

temperature wear and retention of temper temperature.

O1 steel is used for the majority of applications too sensitive for carbon tool steels.
